The Tennessee Titans need to use their TEs a little more in the passing game in 2010

29-year old TE Bo Scaife is one of the best receivers on the team so look for Vince Young to look his way a little more in 2010.  Scaife played in 14 games (10 starts) for the Titans last season and he caught 45 passes for 440 yards (9.8 avg) with 1 TD grab.  He has now played in 76 games (49 starts) in his five years in the NFL and he has caught 215 passes for 2,065 yards (9.6 avg) with 8 TD grabs.

23-year old Jared Cook is looking to have more action in his second year with the Titans.  Cook had a outstanding pre-season for the Titans last summer but they decided not to use him much in the passing game when the games counted.  Cook played in 14 games (0 starts) for the Titans last season and he caught 9 passes for 74 yards (8.2 avg).

The Titans have recently signed 30-year old Sean Ryan and he will battle Jared Cook for the #3 TE job.  Ryan played in 10 games (8 starts) for the Chiefs last season and he caught 14 passes for 135 yards (9.6 avg) with 2 TD grabs.  He has now played in 53 games (15 starts) in his six years in the NFL and he has caught 26 passes for 240 yards (9.2 avg) with 2 TD grabs.

PROJECTED GRADE FOR THE TITANS TEs in 2010:  C
