The Titans must have felt that they needed a run blocking TE for the end of the O-Line.  He is 6′3″, 255 pounds and he runs a 4.78 40.  Stevens isn’t much of a receiver but he might improve at it with hard work.  He played in 50 games (33 starts) at California and he caught 51 passes for 669 yards (13.1 avg) with 7 TD runs.  The Titans should have gotten a TE that can catch the ball to team with Alge Crumpler……and Martin Rucker of Missouri was still on the board when they picked.
