The problem with the Titans is that they got good too fast and it hurt them badly in draft position. But, you should always root for your team to win and they were a really pleasant surprise as most people thought they were one of the worst football teams in the NFL before the season started. The Titans needed help on both sides of the football and they felt that Michael Griffin was the best football player on the board, only time will tell if they were right. Griffin is a force on the football field as he has great ball skills and he’s a very willing run supporter. He’s an excellent hitter and he’s a fantastic special teams player as he blocked 8 kicks in his college career in Texas. In 50 games at Texas (28 starts), Griffin made 364 tackles, broke up 27 passes, intercepted 8 passes (41 return yards), forced 9 fumbles and recovered 7 fumbles. The Titans got an excellent football player with their first pick in the Draft.
