The Titans need more from their TEs
Tight ends are a young QBs best friend. With that in mind the Titans need more production from their underachieving corps of TEs. As a group they only caught 49 passes for 594 yards with 4 TD catches.
Bo Scaife was the busiest TE for the Titans. He played in 14 games (12 starts) last season and he caught 29 passes for 370 yards (12.8 avg) with 2 TD catches. For his career, Scaife has played in 30 games (17 starts) and he has caught 66 passes for 643 yards (9.7 avg) with 4 TD grabs.
Ben Troupe is one of the more overrated TEs in the league. Everyone always touts him before the season starts and then he doesn’t do much. He played in 10 games last season (9 starts) and he caught 13 passes for 150 yards (11.5 avg) with 2 TD catches. For his career, Troupe has played in 39 games (27 starts) and he has caught 101 passes for 1,009 yards (10.0 avg) with 7 TD grabs.
Ben Hartsock played in 6 games last season (3 starts) and he caught 6 passes for 68 yards (11.3 avg). For his career, Hartsock has played in 29 games (6 starts) and he has caught 12 passes for 109 yards (9.1 avg).
Cooper Wallace played in 2 games (1 start) and he caught 1 pass for 6 yards.
