Tennessee Titans vs. New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have righted their ship as they’ve won 2 games in a row and 5 of their last 6. The Tennessee Titans are on fire as they’ve won six games in a row.
The New England Patriots will try to push the Titans around in the running game with Corey Dillon (745 yards rushing) and Laurence Maroney (672 yards rushing) against a Titans defense that is allowing 142.8 yards rushing per game and 4.5 yards per carry. After the running game is established it will be Tom Brady’s turn to carve up the Titans secondary. The Titans are allowing 223.9 net yards passing per game this season, so Brady (3,304 yards passing) will spread the ball around until he finds the weakness in the Titans secondary.
The Titans will attempt to run the ball with Travis Henry (1,109 yards rushing) and Vince Young (523 yards rushing), but it won’t be easy. The Patriots are only allowing 91.5 yards rushing per game and 3.8 yards per carry so far this season. Vince Young had better be careful when he throws the football because the Patriots have intercepted 20 passes so far this season including 8 by Asante Samuel.
The Patriots are going to show the Titans that it’s better to be good than lucky. The Patriots will win this football game.
