Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills
The Titans have won 5 games in a row after starting the season 2-7. The Buffalo Bills have won 4 of their last 5 games including a 21-0 shutout of the Miami Dolphins last week.
The Titans will run the football alot against the Bills with Travis Henry (974 yards rushing) and Vince Young (462 yards rushing) doing the bulk of the heavy lifting. The Bills are allowing 137.7 yards rushing and 4.7 yards per carry so far this season so the Titans should be very successful running the ball. The Bills pass defense is allowing 187.3 net yards passing per game, but the Titans will only throw the ball if they have too, preferring to keep the ball on the ground.
The Bills also prefer to run the football. Willis McGahee (872 yards rushing) and Anthony Thomas (368 yards rushing) should have alot of success against a Titans’ run defense that is allowing 145.3 yards rushing per game and 4.5 yards per carry so far this season. The Titans pass defense has been pretty bad too, allowing 221.4 net yards passing per game. So look for JP Losman to attack the Titans deep to Lee Evans (70 rec, 1,083 yards) who could have a monster game.
I like the Bills to end the Titans’ winning streak on Sunday. The cold weather coupled with a big game by Lee Evans will help the Bills prevail.
