Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants

The Giants might be feeling a little down after getting their butts kicked two weeks in a row (outscored 64-30)! The Titans are probably feeling pretty good after ruining the Eagles season last week and thrashing them 31-13!

The Giants need to be able to run the ball to be effective on offense. They should have no problem moving the ball on the ground against the Titans who are allowing 148.1 yards rushing per game and 4.7 yards per carry. Tiki Barber (998 yards rushing) and Brandon Jacobs (286 yards rushing, 6 TDs) should have field days against the Titans. Eli Manning needs to get his act together as he has had a QB rating of under 60.0 in 4 consecutive games. The Titans should give him a good chance of getting things right as they allow 227.8 net yards passing per game.

The Titans are all about running the football. Travis Henry is having an outstanding season (729 yards rushing) and Vince Young (225 yards rushing) is a serious threat too. The Giants are allowing 104.2 yards rushing per game and 3.7 yards per carry. The Giants pass defense isn’t that good, but the Titans rarely throw the ball so that probably won’t be a factor.

The Giants are the better football team, but the Titans have shocked some teams so I wouldn’t be surprised if they won the game.
