The Titans didn’t play well on offense OR defense, but still won the game thanks to a couple huge plays that went the Titans way. Reserve DE Tony Brown picked up a David Carr fumble, and returned it 40 yards for a TD. Pacman Jones returned a punt 53 yards for a TD. Vince Young completed 7 of 15 passes for 87 yards and a TD. Young also carried the ball 4 times for 44 yards and a TD. Travis Henry was getting stuffed all day long by the Texans, carrying the ball 15 times for 29 yards (1.9 ypc). LenDale White carried the ball 7 times for 35 yards (5.0 ypc). WR Bobby Wade caught 2 passes for 30 yards and a TD.

The defense was on the field along time in this game, and they didn’t really play that well. Keith Bulluck led the way with 13 tackles. LB Peter Sirmon chipped in with 10 tackles. DE Kyle Vander Bosch had 4 tackles and 2 sacks. Pacman Jones had a huge game with 7 tackles, an interception and a punt return (53 yards) for a TD. S Chris Hope had 5 tackles and an interception. The Texans ran all over the Titans, carrying the ball 26 times for 148 yards (5.7 ypc). The Texans completed 33 of 46 passes for 279 net yards passing.
